BlueSky Cirrus Syn 460 is a synthetic gear and bearing oil formulated with synthesized hydrocarbon fluid. It also contains select additives which enhance oxidation resistance and provide maximum protection against wear, rust, corrosion and foaming. BlueSky Cirrus Syn 460 is a synthesized hydrocarbon fluid which provides significant thermal and oxidation stability, and protects against the loss of viscosity more than conventional mineral oils. BlueSky Cirrus Syn 460 has a high viscosity index which provides higher viscosities at high temperatures, and therefore greater film thickness, and lower viscosities at low temperatures for easy start-ups and minimal internal friction. The low coefficient of friction of the BlueSky Cirrus Syn 460 lubricant greatly reduces power consumption and gearbox operating temperature. This will have the added benefit of extending the useable life of this lubricant.
