IOS VG 68 food grade oils are used in food processing and beverage plants where incidental food contact may occur. Our food grade lubricants are NSF Registered, meet USDA 1998 (H-1) guidelines, and are also Kosher approved.
IOS VG 68 food grade oils have a midpoint kinematic viscosity of 68 mm2/s (or cSt) while SAE 20 Wt. oil has a minimum high-temperature kinematic viscosity of 5.6 mm2/s (cSt). These numbers refer to the standard testing mechanisms used to determine an oil’s resistance to flow (viscosity).
