ISO VG 1000 gear lubricants have a midpoint kinematic viscosity of 1000 mm2/s, also referred to as centistokes (cSt). This is the average of the minimum and maximum viscosities derived from AGMA testing (900 mPa.S and 1100 mPa.S for AGMA 8A).
