These ISO VG 680 synthetic gear oils do not contain any extreme pressure (EP) additives, but they can exhibit similar performance characteristics to EP lubricants. The synthetic base stocks of these gear oils provide extra protection without any additives that could potentially corrode yellow metals such as brass, bronze, or copper.
