These ISO VG 220 synthetic gear lubricants do not contain EP (extreme-pressure) additives but can exhibit similar performance characteristics to EP oils. The synthetic base stocks of these gear lubricants provide extra protection without additives that attack yellow metals such as brass, bronze, or copper.
