These ISO VG 68 synthetic gear oils do not contain EP (extreme-pressure) additives but can exhibit similar performance characteristics to EP oils. The synthetic base stocks of these gear lubricants provide extra protection without the additives that may attack yellow metals such as brass, bronze, or copper.
