The Alto Line – BlueSky’s “Alto” line of compressor oils reduces maintenance costs due to their excellent solvency of our synthetic lubricants, which keeps your entire system clear of varnish and sludge, while also providing proper lubrication for extended bearing life. They reduce lubricant consumption by providing excellent thermal stability, low volatility, excellent shear properties, and superior oxidation resistance. Energy savings are gained due to synthetic base oils’ lower coefficients of friction, high thermal stability, and superior heat-transfer ability. Higher flash points and higher auto-ignition temperatures make BlueSky synthetic lubricants safer to use than petroleum based products. They are also environmentally friendly because they run cleaner and last longer than petroleum products, resulting in less volume and cost associated with their disposal.
The Cirrus Line - BlueSky’s “Cirrus” line of synthetic Gear & Bearing lubricants will not only protect gears against failures associated with heavy loading and thermal breakdown, but will reduce frictional drag, thereby reducing the input power. Reducing fluid friction results in lower energy consumption as well as lower lubricant operating temperatures. This will prolong the life of both the lubricant and the equipment. In addition, BlueSky’s line of Gear & Bearing Lubricants will provide better wear protection, stability, and reduced sludge and deposit formation to ensure enhanced performance when compared to petroleum-based lubricants.
The Stratus Line - All of BlueSky’s “Stratus” Food Grade Lubricants are registered with NSF® for H1 application (lubricants with incidental food contact) and most of our food grade products are also Kosher approved, Halal certified, and CFIA accepted. In 2008, the manufacturer of BlueSky Lubricants was registered by NSF as the first company in North America (and second in the world) to be ISO 21469 certified. This certification emphasizes BlueSky’s focus on food safety and gives our customers further confidence in the quality of our products. Many of the negative traits often associated with food grade products - shorter lubricant life, more equipment wear, etc. - do not apply to BlueSky’s Food Grade Lubricants. Our manufacturer has extensive experience in the lubrication business and utilize the latest technologies. We offer a line of food safe, H1 products that meet or exceed the performance of conventional lubricants.
BlueSky’s Environmentally Friendly Lubricants are environmentally responsible lubricating oils built for farm equipment and hydraulic systems operating under high load and high pressure. BlueSky’s Terra products’ base oil and additives pass and exceed the acute toxicity (LC-50) criteria adopted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as well as the U.S. EPA. BlueSky’s Terra products meet the definition of a bio-based lubricant as outlined in section 9001 of The Farm Security and Rural Investment Act (FSRIA) of 2002 (Public Law 107-171/ HR 2642) and qualifies for preferred procurement by U.S. Federal Agencies as set forth in FSRIA section 9002.
